Feeling motivated in your yoga?

‘Experience’ more…with your yoga practice

These first few months of the year can be a little depressing to say the least.
I can feel the energy or lack of it. I get it.

It’s not easy and especially when the sun hasn’t shone in a little while either!

I find it’s times like this that we have to seek out opportunities to feel more.

Experience more.
To feel and experience ‘more’ is to feel alive.
To feel energised.

How strange it is that we get so much of our energy from the sun?!
Or is that just this country!

So when the sun doesn’t shine.
Maybe slow down. Tune in. With whatever it is that you’re doing.

When we do slow down. We can give ourselves a little more patience. A little time to just be. To lean in. Listen in.

It’s in this space that we take time to be curious. To explore.

Like in yoga when we slow things down and have a little more time, we might lean in more. Listen in to different parts of the body that we might not always hear or feel.

It’s here we spark curiosity to make subtle tweaks and adjustments.
Press the big toe more, engage the thighs, micro tuck the tail bone, etc.
These subtle adjustments and little details give us more feeling.
More strength. More flexibility. And more energy as a result.

It’s in these little details that we experience more…

And perhaps feel a little motivation.
